The West Virginia Wesleyan Softball team picked up two key victories at Frostburg State this afternoon, 4-3 and 3-0. The Bobcats put up 19 hits between the two games, including 11 hits in the first game.
The West Virginia Wesleyan Men's Tennis team won 6-1 earlier this afternoon at home against PSAC foe Mercyhurst, earning their third-straight win and improving to (5-3) overall. The women's match was not played due to cancelation.
BFD Captain Joey Baxa was announced as the Citizen of the Year by Mayor Robbie Skinner, who served as the Emcee of the annual awards banquet. Mayor Skinner also announced that Buckhannon City Recorder, Randy Sanders, had been named Businessman of the Year.
