On Friday, Feb. 7, former Petersburg High School standout William Van Meter’s current college team, the Charleston Golden Eagles, lost 12-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Carson-Newman Eagles.

The game took place at Silver Diamond Baseball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 3:15 p.m. at Silver Diamond Baseball Complex against Carson-Newman Eagles.
