Special Joint Session of the Buckhannon City Council & the Upshur County Commission – 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm – This Special Joint Session will be held at the Upshur County Administrative Annex Conference Room located at 91 W. Main Street Buckhannon, WV 26201. Once the Meeting is called to order, the group will observe a Moment of Silence and the Pledge to the Flag of the United States of America. The group will immediately move into Executive Session per WV Code § 6-9A-4 Property Matters followed by the Adjournment. No decisions will be made at this meeting.

Job Description – Sanitary Department-Stormwater Department
The City of Buckhannon Sanitary Department is accepting applications until Wednesday, March 8, 2023, for the position of full-time pipe layer/laborer.
Benefits include health insurance and participation in the Public Employee Retirement System.
Candidates must:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid WV Class A or Class B commercial driver’s license.
- Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Be in good physical condition. This job includes, but is not limited to lifting between 50-100 lbs. regularly.
- Willing to work in confined spaces and in inclement weather
Hourly rate starts at $13.00 per hour dependent on education, skills, and qualifications.
