Women's Basketball Preview: Salem, Alderson Broaddus & Notre Dame (Ohio)

The Basics
The West Virginia Wesleyan women's basketball team will begin the week at home versus Salem on Monday (Dec. 5) and Alderson Broaddus on Wednesday (Dec. 7) before going on the road to South Euclid, Ohio., to take on Notre Dame (Ohio) on Saturday (Dec. 10). Both home games will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the game at Notre Dame (Ohio) will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Scouting Alderson Broaddus
Alderson Broaddus has an overall record of (2-6) and a (1-3) MEC record. Three Battlers average double-digit scoring, Iyahnna Williams (19.6), Hannah Taylor (13.4) and Amil Mitchell (12.4). Williams averages a team-leading (9.1) rebounds per game.

Ta-Rel Franklin is entering his first season at the helm of the Battlers.

Scouting Notre Dame (Ohio)
The Falcons have an overall record of (2-6) and a MEC record of (1-3). Alana Ellis averages a team-leading (17) points per game. Marina Adachi is shooting 43% from beyond the arc while averaging (8.6) points per game. Noel Weathers averages a team-leading (6.5) rebounds per game.
