The West Virginia Wesleyan (0-5, 0-3) men's basketball team fell in a versus #6 nationally ranked West Liberty (6-0, 3-0) on Wednesday (Nov. 30) afternoon at the ASRC in West Liberty, WV.

Curtis Litton led the Bobcats with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 assist. D'Vante Rivera not too far behind with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Anthony Craven Jr. earned 8 points while Tyler Slone earned 9 points.
Inside the First Half
In the opening half, the Hilltoppers found themselves with the momentum over the Bobcats. West Liberty would find themselves up 37-14 with nine minutes left. Christian Montague and Chaz Hinds would find themselves draining a few three pointers expanding the Hilltopper lead. Jackson Rhodes was able to pick up his first steal with seven minutes left on the clock. Rivera has earned four points throughout this point while Slone leads the Bobcats with six points. A few individual performances have kept the Bobcats into this game but as a team have struggled to find their rhythm. Kabe Ellis started to find some intensity when he was able to come off with a rebound and have a layup in the same play. Ellis would continue to find himself on the end of four rebounds. The Hilltoppers went into the half leading 68-32.
Inside the Second Half
In the second half, the Hilltoppers came out hot draining a three pointer. The Hilltoppers were able to power their way through the defense and earn more points extending their lead. #33 was able to get a few points for the Bobcats in opening minutes of the half. Litton would find himself earning 16 points for the night. West Liberty seemed to be in control for most of the match and ultimately came out on top with a score of 121-54.
