The Basics
The West Virginia Wesleyan volleyball team will begin their week at home on Tuesday (Oct. 25) in the Rockefeller Center versus Concord before traveling to Institute, W.Va. on Friday (Oct. 28) to take on West Virginia State. Both matches will begin at 7 p.m.

Concord is 6-22 overall and 0-12 in the MEC. In the last matchup, WVWC came back after dropping the first two sets and won in five sets on Sept. 23. The Mountain Lions have dropped 13 straight matches.
Hannah Steele leads Concord's offensive attack with 290 kills. Kenzee Chaffin has passed 688 assists. Amber Hall leads the Mountain Lions at the net with 57 blocks.
Kate Dillon is in her 14th season in charge of the Mountain Lions volleyball team.
Scouting West Virginia State
The Yellow Jackets have a 22-4 overall record and own a 9-3 conference mark. In their last meeting, West Virginia State defeated the Bobcats in three sets.
Diamond`Nique Young is the go-to player for the Yellow Jackets. Young has the most kills (283) and blocks (89) for WVSU. Peri Martin has passed 409 assists and Keirsten Eggleton has racked up 407 assists.
Kris Kern is in his sixth year at the helm of the Yellow Jackets.
