Highland Arts Unlimited presents Karen Knotts, daughter of West Virginia's own Don Knotts, on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 3 p.m. in the Church-McKee Arts Center.
Karen is an actress and author who has been referred to as ‘a hilarious performer.’ Her one-woman show and book — both titled “All Tied Up in Knotts” is a tribute to her father, “… who was a down-to-earth father with strong family values and beloved world-wide.”
Karen states in her show, "I would stand outside the door where he was rehearsing and listen to him run his lines over and over in different ways. It sounded like a concert pianist going over each bar with different emphasis."
She also reminisces about how her dad would have her and her brother study the World Book Encyclopedia each evening after dinner.
Tickets are $25 per adult and free for HAU members, PSC students and local students 18 and under. Tickets can be purchased at Reed's Drug Store, ACE Hardware and the Candlewyck Inn in Keyser; Allegany Arts Council in Cumberland; and Anderson's Corner in Romney.
