Work began on renovating the Wesley Chapel steeple this week by an outside contractor. The project involves replacing wood as well as cleaning, scraping, sanding, caulking, and painting the steeple with a long-life paint. The louvers will also be replaced. Lastly, the project includes inspecting and restoring the clock hands and faces as necessary. The renovation is expected to take a couple months, but could be longer depending on the weather.
