Discount Available for Low Income West Virginia Customers.
You may be eligible for a discount on your gas bills
during November and December of 2022 and January, February and March of 2023, if you receive any of the benefits listed below during these months:
• Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
(SSI children under 18 are not eligible)
• WV WORKS
• Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)(You must be 60 years of age or older)
If you currently receive any of these forms of assistance,the West Virginia Department of Health & Human Resources will send you a letter explaining the special reduced rate program and an application to submit to Mountaineer Gas Company to receive the discount.
