The City of Lewisburg and the Lewisburg Police Department are aware of the morning congestion on Interstate 64 and US 219. We have been in constant communication with the Department of Highways on resolving this issue through any remedy necessary. On Wednesday, August 24th, 2022, Department of Highways personnel will be on site to observe the morning congestion and make changes they deem appropriate to resolve this issue. We want to make sure this congestion is resolved as soon as possible. Please be patient and know that this issue is a priority for all of us!
