Of the 185 people living in Elk Garden in 2019, 61.1 percent (113) were women and 38.9 percent (72) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Allegheny Highlands Today.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 57-to-48. In the 65 and over age range, there were 25 females and 14 males.
