On Saturday, March 29, former Petersburg High School standout William Van Meter’s current college team, the Charleston Golden Eagles, lost 10-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Point Park Pioneers.

The game took place at Welch Athletic Complex. This was their second matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 1 p.m. at Welch Athletic Complex against Salem Tigers.
