On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Petersburg High School standout William Van Meter’s current college team, the Charleston Golden Eagles, lost 10-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the West Chester Golden Rams.

The game took place at Patriot Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Golden Rams this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. at Sammy Cox Field against UNC Pembroke Braves.
