On Saturday, March 15, former Buckhannon Upshur High School standout Shelby Mcdaniels’ current college team, the Glenville State Pioneers, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets.

The game took place at Lady Jackets Field. This was their first matchup against the Yellow Jackets this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 3 p.m. at Lady Jackets Field against West Virginia State Yellow Jackets.
